Giorgio Basaglia (Milano) Italian Manager

Giorgio Basaglia is an aerospace engineer (graduated from the Milan Polytechnic) and an Italian business executive of Milanese origins. His important professional career began as an industrial systems engineer and then director of international projects for the Pirelli Group. Over the years he has become a member of numerous boards of directors of important listed companies such as Trenitalia SpA and Fiera Milano International SpA. He currently is a Senior Partner at Yellowknife & Partners, an international consultancy firm with headquarters in Milan.

He is the author of over fifty publications, also translated abroad, dealing with technical, scientific and business management topics.

He has worked in over 100 countries around the world, has lived permanently on four continents and speaks three languages ​​fluently. Giorgio Basaglia has a long experience as a consultant for Italian and European Ministries: from 1994 to 1998 he worked in the Directorate General for Industry of the European Commission, and from 2002 onwards he was a consultant for the Italian Communications Ministries, of the European Policies, Culture and Education.

He also held the position of Director of the Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies and the Minister of European Policies and First Counselor of the Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities.
